Foundation Portfolio Rough Edit Feedback

 Feedback - 

  • Need to add opening credits.
  • Need to exaggerate the white substance going into salad.
  • Cut/Transition rather than a shaky camera being placed on trolley.
  • Add a steady after effect to make camera less shaky.
  • Time Lapse for dinner eating.
  • Good continuous shot when couple is leaving.
  • Remove black ribbons from when chef leaves kitchen
  • Mute some of the tracks and add own sound effects.
  • Great news report and shot walking to window.


Response - 
I will be taking most of this feedback on board. I am going to refine my over all sequence to help make the camera not shaky and this will also remove all the random stuff that make the film unprofessional. For instance refining sequence will also get rid of the black ribbons. I am also going to mute the sound track in the kitchen and add my own sound effects that way the audio will be more clear and the sound of the fridge in the kitchen will not be overwhelming.

Lighting -    Here is a close up of the 3 point lighting system which as you can see clearly shows the characters face in the proper way. This is the best choice of lighting if you are wanting the audience to see the whole of the characters face and expressions. This photo is also just another example of the 3 point lighting but from a mid shot point of view. This is our main example of using the 3 point lighting system. You can see that  as their is a fill light back light and key light. This type of lighting is what shows the character in the best possible way. Here is where I am learning how to properly use the lighting equipment and learning to play with the lighting and bouncing it off of walls.
